Each shelf/section has its own theme. With JavaScript enabled, you can set your preferences using the a11y panel to the left and they will apply for every theme. If JS is disabled, the preferences set by your device or browser for light/dark mode and reduced motion will be respected.
Books void of colour on each shelf lead to content that could be upsetting to some readers. While it's all "safe for work", the subject matter could be of more sensitive or controversial nature. Discretion is advised.
